MANNING– Mary Jesna Bagnal Snowden, 93, passed away Friday, September 26, 2025, at Bethea Retirement Community in Darlington.

Born February 22, 1932, in Manning, she was a daughter of the late Robert Lee Bagnal and the late Nina Louise Thames Bagnal. She was a past department president from 1985 to 1986 of Ladies Auxiliary of the VFW and went on to become State President of the Ladies Auxiliary of the VFW and district trustee from 2018 to 2019. She was the past matron of the Order of the Eastern Star, and past member of the Manning Pilot Club. A mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend, Mary lived a long and meaningful life.

She is survived by two sons, Wattie Snowden and Bobby Snowden (Cindy); a daughter Mary Torgersen (Keith); grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who will carry her memory forward with love.
